The residents of Nnobi in Idemili South LGA of Anambra State woke up to witness a horrible spectacle play out before their own eyes as they found one dead body and a human head inside a casket at Afor Market of the town in the early hours of Friday 26/11/2011.
A decapitated human head that looked like that of an adolescent was laid alongside the dead man with an attached inscription.
The coffin had a written note addressed to the Governor-Elect, Prof Chukwuma Soludo(CFR), in which the unidentified gunmen demanded that he expedite the immediate release of all their detainees and that every Monday Sit-At-Home in solidarity with IPOB will proceed until the discharge of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Unknown gunmen will return with a fresh style this time, and it will be brutal, according to the writing found in the coffin, and Isuofia, the hometown of the next governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, will be the center of their hatred.
They also instructed Soludo’s relatives to convince him to release all of their members, as Umueze Isuofia (Soludo’s hamlet) is constructing an armoured tanker.
