Information reaching our news desk has it that three persons have been arrested by the police in Ogun State for allegedly beating a suspected phone thief whose name was identified as Samuel Ajibade. The arrested suspects whose names are Ugo Obi, Chinonso Jude and Chibuike Samson said that the alleged phone thief stole two hand sets.
According to the DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, Police Public Relations Officer revealed that it was the father of the suspected phone thief who was beating to death, Gbenga Ajibade, reported the incident to the Onipanu divisional headquarters and the Divisional Police Officer quickly led his detectives to the scene of the crime where they immediately arrested the three suspects.
