Former Nigerian presidential aid and a celebrated author, Reno Omokri, has claimed there is no difference between him and Abubakar Shekau and between his government and Boko Haram.
He said the present has been sponsoring the activities of Boko Haram and their activities are almost similar. He said Boko Haram kills unarmed civilians that disagree with them, and Buhari kills unarmed, peaceful #EndSARS protesters that disagree with him.
His comments come at the back of an investigation conducted by CNN that establishes that indeed there was a military shooting at Leki Tollgate which was initially denied by both the government and the Army.
He took to his Instagram page to say from today President Buhari should call Boko Haram “My fellow terrorists”. He wrote:
From today, whenever General @MuhammaduBuhari is referring to Boko Haram, he must address them as ‘MY FELLOW TERRORISTS’, because there is no difference between him and Abubakar Shekau and between his government and Boko Haram. The @CNN Independent Investigation in #LekkiMassacre proved it! What is the difference between them? NONE. Boko Haram kills unarmed civilians that disagree with them, and Buhari kills unarmed, peaceful #EndSARS protesters that disagree with him. No wonder he has been rehabilitating them.
