A lady has found herself being welcomed in an interesting way by her boyfriend’s family after she went with him to spend the holidays.
A Twitter user with handle @Steadi_lady narrated how her cousin and his girlfriend came to spend the Christmas/New Year holiday with her family, and a day after their arrival, the girlfriend picked up a a broom and started sweeping the compound.
But @Steadi_Ladi’s mum swiftly collected the broom from her and said that such is not allowed in their house.
The mum told the young lady that she is a guest hence she should be relaxing and not doing house chores.
”My cous came with his babe to celebrate xmas/new year with us.
”Next morning she strtd sweeping the compound, my mom told her to drop the broom.
”Mom: “we don’t do that here, you’re a guest, go bath, eat, rest or watch TV.”
”It’s we women that can put a stop to that nonsense tbh.”
