
According to Israel news agency, Jerusalem Post, on a news update posted on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, they revealed that on Wednesday morning that at least 10 people were killed and more wounded in Israeli airstrikes in Syria overnight.
Late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, Israeli military aircraft targeted Syrian air defense batteries and an army base used by Iran’s Quds Force in Syria.
According to a report by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights in London, Israeli aircraft bombed the air defense center of the Syrian army as well as the regional headquarters of the Quds Force in Syria and supplied depots and caches of weapons used by pro-Iranian forces.
The objectives were hit in Damascus, including in Sayyidah Zaynab and Kiswah, and south of the city.
There were a total of 10 confirmed casualties, all of them Soldiers, the SOHR said.
Three Syrian air defense officers, five Iranians and two pro-Iranian fighters whose identity has not yet been verified were the victims. The SOHR study said they are likely to be either Lebanese or Iraqi citizens.
