Kingsley Okonkwo has got people talking when he passed his assertion about marriage.

The Lagos-based clergyman postulated that there is nowhere in the bible where people were advised to marry who they love. He claims that the Holy book talked about loving who they marry.

”Nowhere does the Bible say Marry Who You Love, it says Love Who You Marry.”

Reacting to his thoughts on marriage, different opinions have been shared. He did not, however, elaborate on his concept, leaving leeway for others to interpret it as they saw fit. Many others misinterpreted the clergyman’s words to suggest that people should marry anyone and then deepen their love for that person as they go through life together.

Many people believe that this is a trigger for divorce because it is difficult for people to strengthen their love for someone they have never loved.

In other news, Nigerian activist Deji Adeyanju has urged Nigerian musician Davido to run for House of Reps in 2023.

This comes after the singer asked for donations from his friends, fans and colleagues ahead of his 29th birthday. He created a new bank account and asked his friends to show love by crediting his account. He was able to raise about 200 million which he promised to give it all away.

After his birthday, he shared a screenshot of addition of N50 million to his already garnered N200 million which has vowed will be sent to all orphanages across the country.

Reacting to his gesture, Deji Adeyanju has asked Davido to run for House of Representatives come 2023 because he has a kind heart and thinks about the less privileged.

He wrote on his Instagram page today;

”Happy birthday OBO Baddest @davido. I appeal to you to run for House of Reps in 2023 because you care about the people and know what the issues are. The N250m donation to the less privileged is a further justification of this assertion.”
