A Ghanaian military woman and her lesbian partner who she got married to, over the weekend, have reportedly been detained and court-martialed.
In the videos from the wedding reception which were shared online before, the ladies looked happy to as they excitedly danced together after saying “I Do” to each other.
Many reacted to the event with varying opinions on social media as there were questions of why such “ungodly and abominable” event will be allowed in the West African country.
Days after their wedding, some local news platforms in Ghana reported that the taller lady in the video (the military woman) was detained by military authorities.
She is reportedly facing a military court-martial for giving out a an army uniform to her lesbian partner – who is a civilian to take pre-wedding photos.
